Spatial structure concept Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein
There are intensive spatial interdependencies between Hamburg and the neighboring districts in southern Schleswig-Holstein when it comes to living, working, commercial development and transportation. This is demonstrated, among other things, by the many thousands of commuters in this area. But Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein are also connected in terms of natural space through important biotopes and cross-border landscape areas.
In the "Dialogue on Spatial Planning" between Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, which has been in place since 2018, a spatial structure concept for the medium and long-term perspective for southern Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg was developed with the support of urbanista.
The main task for urbanista was the visual and textual version of the spatial structure concept as well as the moderation of the coordination process between the responsible persons from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. (For the textual version we were supported by Oliver Driesen (Zeilensturm)).
