Tobias Hoss studied communication design at the HTWG Konstanz and spatial strategies at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts Kiel. During his time as a research assistant in the field of spatial strategies at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts, Tobias Hoss mainly dealt with the effects of resilience efforts in the context of rising sea levels on urban planning. At urbanista, he is mainly active in the areas of co-creative urban development and media production, such as the comprehensive participation and idea collection process for the Horner Geest landscape axis in Hamburg and the IUDC for the large housing estate Ben-Gurion-Ring in Frankfurt. The project "Beweg Dein Quartier" (Move Your Neighbourhood) was recently awarded the Polis Award in the category Communicative Urban Design. Tobias Hoss is currently working on a development concept for Darmstadt's city centre - a project close to his heart as a native of Darmstadt.
