Patricia Da Costa studied cultural, communication and media studies at the University of Bremen and the Leuphana University of Lüneburg with a focus on digital cultures as well as material culture and urban space. She has been with urbanista since 2021 and most recently worked as a co-author on the BBSR research project "Stadt von übermorgen - Zukunftsdiskurse und Arbeitsmaterialien" (City of Tomorrow - Future Discourses and Working Materials) and on the master plan process Zukunftsquartier Paderborn. She is currently working on a memorandum for Paderborn's inner city and a status report for the city of Heidelberg. In addition, Patricia Da Costa has been responsible for the area of communication at the Urban Change Academy since 2020. With her interdisciplinary background, she develops publication formats around future issues of urban development, such as "Urban Creativity Now! The Playbook for the Post-Corona City". Before joining urbanista, Patricia Da Costa gained experience in collaboration management at the research and transformation agency STURM und DRANG, as a copywriter at the creative agency artundweise and in event management at EDITION F, among others.
