Natalie Bode
M.A. Global Studies – Specialisation Economics and Environment
Natalie has a background in social sciences and economics. She completed a dual study program in business administration at an international battery manufacturer in Brilon, where she was able to gain an insight into the industry.
She then went to Graz for a Master's degree in Global Studies with a focus on economics and ecology. In addition to dealing with alternative economic systems and questions of business ethics and sustainability management, Natalie came to the field of urban geography through a specialization in geography. She gained further practical experience during an internship at the Institute for Ecological Economy Research in the field of sustainable urban development and participation. During her studies, she also organized and implemented the Sustainability Days 2022 as a project assistant at the University of Graz.
Natalie has been part of urbanista since February 2024. In addition to project work, her interdisciplinary background means she is also responsible for administrative activities such as financial and resource planning as well as acquisition. She is also part of the event team at urbanista and has already helped organize the Future Forum Kiel 2042.
