Björge Köhler graduated in architecture from HafenCity University Hamburg (HCU) and Architektur- og Designhøgskolen Oslo (AHO). With the recently completed research project "City of the Day After Tomorrow", one of his current focuses is on urban foresight and future research. He also works on projects at various scales and, with his architectural background, bridges the gap between large-scale strategies and concrete implementation on the ground. His current projects include the inner city concept for the city of Sindelfingen, a status report for the city of Heidelberg and a landscape planning workshop for the city of Hamburg. Before joining urbanista, Björge Köhler worked at the Department of Architecture and Landscape at HafenCity University and co-curated, among others, the exhibitions "Bille Land: Water as Social Space" as part of the Hamburg Summer of Architecture 2019 and the exhibition "Old Town Coast: City, Water, Space in Transition" at the AIT ArchitekturSalon (2021).
